Michael Wilton - GMP Elite
Queensrych has always been one of my favorite bands. To own a guitar that could of been up on stage with either Chris or Michael is really a special thing. Luckily I was able to buy two of his guitars in the same month. What is really cool, is that they are both very similar in concept and construction.
This one is a GMP. Actually GMP was a guitar maker that I was really excited about and really loved owning at one time. I still do like them, and honestly the Elite is the model I prefer from them the most. So this is very cool for me to own one of Michael's Elites. From what I understand (I could be wrong), that GMP mad Michael 6 Elite's all together. 3 were with Floyds and the other 3 were stop tails and string throughs. He really loved them, but GMP wasn't able to match a deal for him like ESP could. So he wasn't able to be a full endorsee of GMP's. He ended up keeping 3 of the 6. This happens to be one of the 3 that he returned. After GMP got it back, they sent it out to another endorsee. He was the guitar player for Alice Cooper in the late 90's and early 2000's. I think it might of been Ryan Roxie, but I am not sure on the name. So if you know, please tell me. Thanks for the help if you can.
