Emily’s passion for music began in fourth grade with an introduction to the violin.  Her love of music expanded during her sophomore year of high school when she began taking piano lessons in addition to her violin studies.  It was clear to Emily that she wanted to make music a part of her career.  She enrolled and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor degree in Music Education with a specialization in Classroom General Music.  During her time at BGSU, she participated in many teaching opportunities that the Music Education Department offered, such as Music Plus and the PATHE program.  Both are volunteer opportunities that graduate and undergrad students participate in to better serve music education in the community.
